Husson to celebrate Swan’s 95th birthday

BANGOR – Husson College Chair Arthur Fuller, Vice Chair Richard Trott and President William Beardsley will host a 95th birthday celebration for Dr. Clara Swan from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 22, at the Swan Center.

The Altrusa International of Greater Bangor also will be establishing the Clara Swan Scholarship, which will be awarded annually to a Husson College student.

If you would like to contribute to the scholarship, you can mail your check payable to Clara Swan Scholarship, Lois Bloomer, 826 Bog Road, Hermon 04401, or donations can be dropped off at the party.
