PORTLAND – Wednesday’s doubleheader between Trenton and Portland at Hadlock Field was postponed and the three-game baseball series was wiped out due to rain. This is the ninth postponement – seven at home – in a season for Portland, which has only played six of 142 games so far.
This series’ rained out games will be made up as 6 p.m. single admission doubleheaders on Tuesday, May 8; Tuesday, Aug. 28; and Wednesday, Aug. 29 in Portland. Portland’s record for home postponements in a season is nine (2005).
