Air Force Airman Stephen M. Lovell Jr. has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
During the six weeks of training, Lovell studied the Air Force mission, organization and military customs and courtesies, performed drill and ceremony marches, participated in physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises and special training in human relations.
Lovell is the son of Mary-Jane Estey of Bangor. He is a 2003 graduate of Bangor High School.
Air Force Airman Cameron R. Chapa has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
During the six weeks of training, Chapa studied the Air Force mission, organization and military customs and courtesies, performed drill and ceremony marches, participated in physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises and special training in human relations.
Chapa is the son of Wendy Asher of Bangor. He is a 2006 graduate of Bangor High School.
Air Force Airman Joel B. Vail has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
During the six weeks of training, Vail studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies, performed drill and ceremony marches, participated in physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises and special training in human relations.
Vail is the son of Charles Vail of Dover-Foxcroft and Linda Vail of Bradford. He is a 2002 graduate of Foxcroft Academy in Dover-Foxcroft.
Air Force Airman Russell J. Howell has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio.
During the six weeks of training, Howell studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies, performed drill and ceremony marches, participated in physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises and special training in human relations.
Howell is the grandson of Virginia Howell of Pittsfield.
Army Pfc. Eric Guay has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training Guay studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid and field training exercises.
Guay is the son of Tony Guay of Old Town and Karen Martell of Guilford. He is a 2004 graduate of Piscataquis Community High School in Guilford.
