ORONO – Max Winter allowed only one hit and struck out 12 to lead the Orono Red Riots to a 4-0 high school baseball victory over the Sumner Tigers Monday.
Ben Perry and Winter each had an RBI single for the Red Riots.

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Alex Gallant doubled and singled to drive in three runs and lead Bangor past Lawrence of Fairfield.

Brook Lawrence singled three times for Lawrence and Jack Hersom added two singles.

At Sabattus, Ben Raven hit three singles and scored four runs to lift Mount View of Thorndike over Oak Hill.
Ethan Jean had a double and two singles with a run driven in for Mount View and Cody Raven added two singles and two runs scored.
Brandon Plourde singled twice and knocked in Oak Hill’s only run.

At Hermon, Timmy Kenerson pitched a two-hitter as the Hawks picked up their first win.
Kenerson struck out nine and walked four in the effort. Travis Estes doubled in a run and Derek Helms doubled and scored twice for Hermon.

At Hermon on Saturday, John Bapst of Bangor broke loose for 16 runs in the fourth inning en route to the victory.

At Orono, Nicky Sargent pitched a no-hitter with nine strikeouts as Sumner of East Sullivan shut out Orono.
Hollie Stanwood had a home run and a double while Lana Sargent had three singles for Sumner. Kayla Higgins, Clarissa West and Ashley Pennartz each doubled and singled.

At Hermon, junior Ashley Kelley pitched a no-hitter, allowing just one walk and striking out 16 of 18 batters to lead Hermon past Foxcroft.
Jaimie Beers had three singles and two RBIs for Hermon. Kelley tripled and doubled and Lily Berry added an RBI single.
Megan Crocker broke up the perfect game with a leadoff walk in the fifth inning for Foxcroft Academy.
