PRESQUE ISLE – The University of Maine at Presque Isle will host a Family Orienteering Day at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Nordic Heritage Center.
At 10:30 there will be a Kid’s Orienteering session to introduce young children to compasses and maps. Older children and adults can participate in the Map Reading Workshop.
At noon there will be a potluck lunch.
In the afternoon, courses will be set up to practice skills learned in the morning session.
