FORT KENT – A canoe and kayak race will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 16, on the St. John River starting at Hartt’s Landing in St. Francis. Race registration will be 7:30-8:30 a.m., or racers can preregister at the Greater Fort Kent Area Chamber of Commerce office.

Preregistration is $10 per paddler, and race day registration will be $15 per paddler.
