LEICESTER, Mass. – Nate Bolduc scored five goals and assisted on another Thursday afternoon as Maine Maritime Academy of Castine posted a convincing 17-1 men’s lacrosse victory over Becker College.
Adam Erickson and Ryan Gannon scored three goals each, Phillip McNerney and Garrett Lake had two apiece and Luke McPartlin and Garrett Hutchins had the other goals.
Patrick Jones made six saves.
Kevin McGee scored for Becker and John Blomgren made 22 saves.

At Standish, Adam Ross pitched five-hit shutout while striking out three and walking nobody to lead the University of Southern Maine of Gorham past Saint Joseph’s College.
Chris Burleson homered and scored two runs for the Huskies. Max Arsenault had a double and an RBI and Josh Makey doubled.
Mark Clapp, Dustin Spiller, and Ben Grant-Roy doubled for the Monks.

At Waterville, Corey Martin hit two doubles, two singles and drove in a run while Brian Liberty knocked a double and three singles and scored three more runs as Colby College triumphed.
Tom Salemy singled twice and doubled to plate four runs while Ryan Conlon added two doubles, a single and drove in four runs. All nine starters collected at least two hits for the White Mules.
Andrew Bellmore slapped four singles and Peter McLaughlin two more for the UMaine-Farmington Beavers.

U-New England, Gordon split
At Wenham, Mass., Sarah Hamel allowed one unearned run on one hit and one walk while striking out three to lead the University of New England past Gordon College 5-1 in the first game of a doubleheader.
Gordon took the second game 4-3.
In the first game, Katie Morin hit a home run and two singles to drive in two runs for the Nor’easters of Biddeford. Michaela O’Rourke had two singles and two RBIs and Kelly Bedard hit two singles.
Kimberly Levinsky singled and scored for Gordon.
In the second game, Nikita Moskevitz hit two doubles and drove in two runs for Gordon.
Morin had three singles and two RBIs for U-New England and Lisa Baillargeon hit two singles.

Bridgewater State sweeps USM
At Bridgewater, Mass., Allie LeBlanc and Melissa MacNamara each had three hits and two RBIs to lead Bridgewater State past the University of Southern Maine 8-3 in the second game of a doubleheader.
The Bears won the first game 6-5.
In the first game, Christen Lachapelle had three hits while Shawna Richard and Kristina Grondin each drove in two runs for the Huskies of Gorham.
In the second game, Evon Hudspeth singled twice with two RBIs while Grondin homered for Southern Maine.
