CASTINE – Maine Maritime Academy scored six runs in the fifth inning to defeat Lesley University 10-9 in softball action Friday.

Nicole Poland had four hits and scored three runs for the 4-13 Lady Mariners. Kristen Gaylord also scored three times.

Georgie Saltzman had two hits including a home run in the first inning for the 17-10 Lynx.
