Have you heard any stories about the “old country”? Why did your family come to the Rockland-Camden area? What was it like growing up Jewish in this area? If you are intrigued by any of these questions, you are invited to participate in a meeting at 7 p.m. Monday, April 30, at Adas Yoshuron synagogue on Willow Street to begin hearing and collecting the stories of Rockland’s Jewish community. Teens who have grown up in Rockland are especially invited to bring their experience. Contact Barbara Fishman at 594-9236 or at bjf@midcoast.com.
