FAIRFIELD – A Norridgewock man faces multiple charges after he allegedly waved a pellet gun at another motorist in a road rage incident that ended in a four-car accident.
Jason Wark, 21, was driving on U.S. Route 201 on Thursday when he was passed by another car driven by Norman Prosper of Clinton, according to Fairfield police Officer Shanna Blodgett.
Wark then raced alongside Prosper’s car and pointed a pellet gun at him, Blodgett said. Wark later told Blodgett that he pulled out the gun because he was insulted that Prosper had passed him.
Wark then lost control of his car and spun out, resulting in damages to four vehicles.
Wark was charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, driving with a suspended license, driving to endanger and reckless conduct.
