BLUE HILL – Steven Ensworth hit three singles to knock in a pair of runs as George Stevens Academy knocked off rival Deer Isle-Stonington 14-4 in a high school baseball game Wednesday.

Nick Saunders had three singles and an RBI for the Eagles. Otto Warden-Black had two singles and an RBI and Jesse Ingraham added two singles.

Ray Garcia doubled and singled to drive in a run for the Mariners and Ben Hardies hit an RBI single.

Beatham added a two-run double in the seventh inning for the Tigers. A.J. McGowen homered and hit three singles and Rick Stewart hit a game-tying RBI single in the seventh.

Richie Tompkins had a double and two singles with two RBIs for the Pirates. Roy Burdin had a single and two RBIs and Jeffrey Robinson singled twice.

At Calais, Stephanie Seeley’s two-run single, Ashley Allen’s run-scoring double and Steph Perry’s RBI single keyed a five-run first inning that sent unbeaten Calais on its way to its eighth win.

Sophomore Tessa Clark tossed a five-hitter in her first start, striking out five and walking three.

Allen had a pair of run-scoring doubles, Perry had two run-scoring singles and Seeley had another single to go with her first-inning base hit.

Kimmie Greene doubled and singled and drove in two runs for Narraguagus of Harrington.

Bangor’s Sam Besse hit a solo home run in the fourth earned the win in relief with four shutout innings. Emily Heath added a double and a single for Bangor.

Erica Malley doubled and singled for Erskine Academy while Abby Sigfried doubled.
