CARIBOU – Caribou’s Jarryd Rossignol’s three-run double highlighted a five-run sixth inning after Houlton had pulled to within 6-4 with three runs in the top of the inning as the Vikings pulled away for an 11-4 high school baseball victory Wednesday.
Dustin Haines pitched six innings of seven-hit, four-run ball to collect the win before Pat Thibodeau threw a perfect seventh.
Thibodeau had two singles and two RBIs for the winners and Kyle Corrigan doubled and singled and drove in a run.
Rick Stairs had two singles and an RBI for Houlton. Mike Cleary had an RBI double and Josh McGuire had a run-scoring single.

Erika Lackey contributed a double, two singles and two RBIs and she also scored four runs.
Nikki Eastman went the distance to post the win, allowing nine hits and four walks with three strikeouts.
Ashley Doucette had three singles for Caribou. Katie Doucette tripled and singled and Serena Grier singled twice. Each also had an RBI.
