FALMOUTH – The Maine Audubon’s annual Birdathon will be held from Saturday, May 12, through Tuesday, June 5.
The birdathon is a bird-watching event in which individuals or teams make per-species pledges and search for and identify as many species as possible. Proceeds go to Maine Audubon. Their goal this year is $50,000.
Maine Audubon will host a free birders’ breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. Saturday, May 19, at Evergreen Cemetery, a bird-watching hot spot.
