MANSFIELD, Conn. – Max Arsenault homered and singled with three RBIs Thursday night to lead the No. 3 University of Southern Maine to a 10-7 victory over No. 2 Keene State College in the Little East Conference tournament.

Josh Stowell had a double and two singles with two RBIs. Josh Mackey had two doubles and a single and Nick Vardaro singled three times.

James Chevalier homered, doubled and singled for Keene.

Suffolk sweeps Saint Joseph’s

At Standish, Greg DiMarco and Tom Kelly homered and singled with two RBIs and led Suffolk to the 8-6 win over Saint Joseph’s in the first game. Suffolk won the second game 6-4.

In the first game, Keil Martin and Chris Doughty doubled for the Monks and Ben Grant-Roy singled twice.

In the second game, Anthony Iacopucci hit two doubles for Suffolk.

Mark Clapp hit a triple and two singles for Saint Joseph’s. Luke Enman and Andrew Wood each singled twice.
