HODGDON – Sean Stevenson doubled and singled and drove in three runs to help the East Grand Vikings beat the Hodgdon Hawks 12-9 in high school baseball action Saturday.
Harvey Britian had a single with two RBIs while Josh Barnes added a double for the Vikings of Danforth.
Morgan Hall singled twice with two RBIs while Daniel McGillicuddy doubled with a pair of RBIs for Hodgdon. Andrew Lane added a double and a single.

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Justin Lewey had an RBI triple and Aaron Sullivan had an RBI single during a five-run first-inning rally that propelled the unbeaten Tigers of Eastport to victory.
Lewey finished with a triple and an RBI single, while Sullivan had two RBI singles and Mike Cummings had three singles.
J.T. Kelleher led Woodland with a double and a single, while Mark McLellan added a single and an RBI.

At Houlton on Friday, Amanda Livezey pitched a complete game and earned the win for herself with a one-out, two-run single to center to score the tying and winning runs in the bottom of the eighth inning for Greater Houlton Christian Academy.
Livezey and Holly Camilleri each had two singles for the Eagles.
Chelsea Paradis singled three times for Wisdom of St. Agatha. Kayla Daigle tripled.

At Fairfield, Kiera Walsh fired a three-hitter, striking out seven and not walking anybody, and Paige Dicker’s run-scoring single followed three walks to break a 1-1 tie in the fifth inning as Lawrence of Fairfield triumphed.
A bases-loaded walk followed Dicker’s single to plate an insurance run.
Stephanie Johansmeier had two singles for Lawrence while Kate Peverada’s double and single and Eva Shannon’s double paced the Broncos.

Rangeley sweeps Greenville
At Greenville, Holly White hit a home run, a triple and two singles to help lead Rangeley past Greenville 20-8 in the second game of a doubleheader on Saturday.
Rangeley defeated Greenville in the first game 17-3.
In the first game, Angela White hit two doubles while Devon Faye and Laura White each added a pair of singles for Rangeley.
Lauren Fling had a triple for Greenville.
In the second game, Brook Durrell and Elly Stone each hit three singles while Faye added a single and a home run for Rangeley.
Susan Muzzy and Fling each had two singles for the Lakers.
Penobscot Valley 8, Schenck 0
At East Millinocket, Jamie Milton allowed two hits and had 10 strikeouts as Penobscot Valley of Howland shut out Schenck.
Kelsy Lavertu doubled and singled while Milton had two singles. Mindy Dolly added an RBI double for Penobscot Valley.
Brianne Smith and Trisha Hobbs each had a single for Schenck.

Presque Isle sweeps Foxcroft
At Presque Isle, Angela Norsworthy and Krista Coffin combined to pitch a one hit shutout allowing no walks and striking out nine to lead Presque Isle to the 12-0 win over Foxcroft Academy in the first game. The Wildcats also won the second game 16-4.
In the first game, Heather Fowler doubled and singled to drive in three runs. Allisen Donovan had two singles and Norsworthy hit an RBI triple.
Jasmine Fletcher singled in the second inning for Foxcroft.
In the second game, Chelsea Glovins knocked in three runs on two singles for Presque Isle and Donovan tripled and singled with two RBIs. Allison Young doubled and singled with two RBIs and Norsworthy and Coffin combined for 12 strikeouts.
Kelsey Boss led Foxcroft with an RBI single. Courtney Withee and Rebecca Flanders singled and scored.
