Outlook: The Black Bears have won six of seven, scoring eight or more runs in four of those six victories, and they would love to build on that momentum entering an important home series with Binghamton this weekend. Maine coach Steve Trimper will give pitchers like Clegg and Nolan Boike some needed work and he also intends to get at-bats for reserves such as Mark Ostrander and Tavis Hasenfus. The Huskies of Neil McPhee have lost seven of nine but have a potent lineup. NU is hitting .292 with 52 homers. Tamsin has homered in three of his last four games and is 12-for-25 (.480) over his last six games.
