UMaine has planned some special events for its upcoming America East baseball series against Binghamton in Orono. Friday is Service Day and firefighters, police officers, and emergency medical technicians may receive a free ticket to the 5 p.m. game by calling 581-1086 or by emailing to angela.bohovich@umit.maine.edu.

Saturday’s 3 p.m. doubleheader will feature a postgame fireworks display by Blue Hill Pyrotechnics, while Saturday’s 1 p.m. game is Fan Appreciation and Senior Day. The first 100 fans will receive a free scorecard autographed by the Black Bears. Margaritas Mexican Restaurant will give away chips, salsa, and sombreros.
