CAPE ELIZABETH – Volunteers are needed for the TD Banknorth Beach to Beacon 10K road race on Aug. 4.
Volunteers help organize and staff many aspects of the event, including registration, course setup and breakdown, water stations, baggage assistance, recycling, and parking. Volunteers receive a T-shirt and are invited to a party exclusively for volunteers.
Those who wish to help throughout the summer or on race day can registration online at www.beach2beacon.org. Returning volunteers who wish to work the same area as previous years are asked to register by June 15.
Those under 18 years of age cannot register online and need to download an application from the Web site.
