FORT FAIRFIELD – The Fort Fairfield Tigers rallied from a 13-0 second-inning deficit to edge Van Buren 14-13 in a high school baseball game Thursday.
Jake Kenneson walked, stole second and scored the winning run on an error in the seventh inning for Fort Fairfield.
Cody Closson had three singles and three RBIs for the Tigers. Ian Towle hit a double and two singles to drive in two runs and Matt Cresenzo doubled and singled with two RBIs.
Keith Vaillancourt tripled and doubled to drive in a run for Van Buren. Matt Parent and Kyle Chasse each had three singles and an RBI.

Logan York hit a three-run home run and a single for Presque Isle. Nick Gallant doubled and singled while Brennan Shaw had two singles and an RBI.

At Washburn, Drew Blier and Nick Michaud had run-scoring singles to key a three-run fifth inning that rallied Fort Kent past Washburn.
Michaud picked up the win with relief help from Josh Tardif. They combined to scatter six hits and five walks with 11 strikeouts.
Michaud had two singles for the winners with Joe Soucy and Derek Bonenfant contributing a double apiece.
Sebastian Viola had two singles and two RBIs for Washburn and Adam Thompson also singled twice.
