BANGOR – George Tripp hit two doubles and drove in four runs to lead the Bay League All-Stars past 2006 Portland Twilight League champion Patriot Mutual 5-2 in the first game of an exhibition baseball doubleheader at Mansfield Stadium on Sunday.

Patriot Mutual won the second game 10-4.

In the first game, Randy Renaud, Howard Whitcomb and Chris Whitney each singled for the Bay League All-Stars.

Will Barnes had two singles and an RBI for Patriot Mutual and John Carriero hit an RBI single.

In the second game, Jesse LaCasse hit a home run, double and two singles to drive in three runs for Patriot Mutual and Dana Dresser singled three times. Miles Hunt and Adam Lemieux each had two singles and an RBI.

Ian Lee had three singles, a triple and an RBI for the Bay League stars while former Hampden Academy teammate Pat Moran added an RBI single.
