BANGOR – In its third season, Abnaki Girl Scout Council’s Summer Fun will offer girls age 5-17 opportunities to explore the performing and creative arts downtown.

Offered 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on six consecutive Thursdays, June 28-Aug. 2, the program will give participants the opportunity to explore the arts through theater, visual and fabric art, dance and photography.

The last session will include the popular session at Clay by Design and a scavenger hunt through downtown Bangor.

Girls may register for the full program or sign up for one or more individual sessions. Snacks will be provided each week, but girls should bring their own lunch and drink. Registration for the first session is due by June 14. Early registration is recommended.

For more information on cost or registration, call Samantha at Abnaki Girl Scout Council, 989-7474, or visit www.abnakigsc.org. No previous Girl Scout membership is required.
