CALAIS – Stephanie Perry pitched a one-hitter, walking only one while striking out 10 as the Calais softball team capped an unbeaten regular season with a 5-0 win over Jonesport-Beals Wednesday.

Courtney Hill doubled and singled with an RBI, and Emily Wilkinson had two singles and an RBI. Stephanie Seeley added two singles for the Blue Devils.

Richmond sweeps Greenville

At Richmond, the Richmond Bobcats rapped 26 hits to sweep a doubleheader with Greenville 15-0 and 13-1.

In the first game, Melanie Schanck had a double, two singles and three RBIs for the Bobcats. Shelby Hurley, Katie Cray, Stephanie Cray and Amy Will each singled twice.

One single each by Leslie Harris and Lauren Fling were the Lakers’ only hits.

In the second game, Hurley led the way with three singles. Schanck and Hillary Trott each singled twice.

Brittany Boucher’s single in the third broke up Richmond’s no-hit bid.
