7:30 a.m.-6 p.m.: Registration at Debsconeaq Turnout, 10 miles from the Millinocket terminus of the Golden Road.
9 a.m.-6 p.m.: Golden Road Touring begins from the turnout to Ripogenus Dam, 40 miles round-trip or less. Historians will give talks at points along the way. Trolley rides available for the elderly and disabled.
1-4 p.m.: Artist Marsha Donahue hosts reception, “Returning to the Interior,” Northlight Gallery, 256 Penobscot Ave., Millinocket.
5-7 p.m.: Spaghetti dinner, VFW Post 4154, 40 Oxford St., Millinocket. Admission is $5, with proceeds benefiting the VFW.
6:30-9:30 p.m.: Free concert at Veterans Park, Millinocket, featuring “Sweet Reverie” and “Weatherd.”
JUNE 3
7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.: Registration at Debsconeaq Turnout.
9 a.m.: 18-mile race from Debsconeaq Turnout to Millinocket Lake, with prizes awarded to the top three.
9:10 a.m.-5 p.m.: More Golden Road tours, with trolley rides for the elderly and disabled.
