LA CORUNA, Spain -Farmington native Kevin Eastler has qualified for the 2008 Summer Olympics in the 20K racewalk. The Air Force captain was clocked in 1 hour, 22 minutes, 56 seconds in Saturday’s IAAF Grand Prix 20K Racewalk Challenge.

Eastler was 12th overall, but met the Olympic ‘A’ standard. Two-time Olympian Tim Seaman, one of Eastler’s training partners, walked a 1:23:30 to finish 13th and met the ‘B’ standard.
