Seth Wescott, the gold medalist in snowboard cross at the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin, Italy, will be competing on a more local scale when he participates in the 43rd Whited Ford Paul Bunyan Amateur Golf Tournament this weekend.

Wescott, who now lives in Carrabassett Valley, will be playing in Division C starting Friday. He will open at Penobscot Valley Country Club in Orono, play Saturday at Rockland Golf Club, and finish Sunday at Kebo Valley Golf Club in Bar Harbor.
