BANGOR – A Pax Christi Mass will be celebrated at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Ohio Street.
The Rev. Thomas Lequin, pastor of St. Mary’s, will celebrate the special Mass.
Pax Christi USA is an affiliate of the Catholic European peace organization, Pax Christi International, according to the Encyclopedia of Catholicism.
The organization is rooted in gospel-inspired nonviolence and committed to making the church an instrument of peacemaking.
