EASTPORT – The Washington Academy Raiders scored five runs in the fifth inning en route to 6-4 high school baseball victory over Shead in the Downeast Athletic Conference championship Saturday.

Mike Lenfesty had a double and two singles with an RBI while James Stauffer had three singles for the Raiders of East Machias. Joey Hunter added an RBI double and an RBI single.

Jacob Stanley recorded a two-run single while Craig Hastings had a triple for Shead. Tom Pottle added an RBI single.
