Bowling in Skowhegan to help three children

SKOWHEGAN – Rhonda Wakefield’s Benefit Bowl-A-Thon will be held 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Central Maine Family Fun, formerly Ken’s Bowling Center, on Route 201 in Skowhegan.

Wakefield allegedly was killed by her estranged husband last January, and proceeds from the event will benefit her three children.

The fundraiser includes Red Pin Give-Aways, a 50-50 raffle and music.

Admission is $20 for adults 18 and older, $10 for those 10-17, free for children under 10.

Donations from those who cannot attend may be sent to TD Banknorth, Rhonda’s Children’s Fund, in care of: Virginia, 182 Main St., Waterville 04901.
