Inhumane treatment in puppy mills has spurred the Pet Animal Welfare Statute, which will soon be introduced in Congress. Please stand up for animals and call our legislators at (202) 224-3121 and ask them to co-sponsor and support this legislation.
There are thousands of these mass-breeding facilities in the United States today, where money-hungry, ruthless breeders force animals (who never see the outside of a cage) into constant reproduction for monetary reward.
Documented problems include poor care, poor quality of food, over-breeding and the killing animals who can no longer reproduce.
Please help to end this unspeakable cruelty.
