BELFAST, Northern Ireland – Bangor native Marcus Davis won his ninth straight Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bout Saturday with a first-round knockout of England’s Jason Tan at Odyssey Arena.

Davis made short work of Tan, nailing him with a right to the chin and adding five more shots after Tan had fallen before the referee ended the bout after 75 seconds.

Davis’ win in the undercard bout of UFC 72 raises the former pro boxer’s pro mixed-martial arts fight record to 17-4.
