Fusion:Bangor to hold member summit meeting

BANGOR – Fusion:Bangor will hold “Inspiration ’07,”

its first membership summit, which aims to provide

both new and existing members of the young professional group with direct input into its programming and direction.

The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 21, at the Sea Dog in Bangor. It is free and new members are encouraged to attend as well as those previously involved with Fusion.

With more than 200 members, Fusion has grown from an idea to a force in the Bangor region in the past few years. Bolstered by this year’s “We’ve Got Issues” campaign, the group integrates professional and social networking with involvement in community projects. Fusion is a program of the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce.

Deb Neuman, director of the Target Technology Incubator at the University of Maine, will facilitate the summit, engaging members in a dialogue about future projects, priorities and outreach activities.

Interested parties are asked to respond to events@fusionbangor.com and fill out a membership form prior to the meeting.

Forms are available at the group’s Web site:

www.fusionbangor.com.
