BANGOR – Six Federal Protective Service guards assigned to the Margaret Chase Smith Federal Building were honored Tuesday for 10 or more years of service during a recognition dinner at the Sea Dog Brewing Co.
Receiving recognition for their years of service were Stefin Brown and Robert Cameron of Bangor, Thomas Hawkes and Dennis Robinson of Glenburn, Larry Pratt of Newburgh and Winfield Spencer of LaGrange.
As part of the recognition event, the guards were presented with framed certificates, gold and ruby lapel pins and leather jackets. They also received congratulatory letters from members of Maine’s congressional delegation.
