Basic training

SAN ANTONIO – Air Force Airman David Blaisdell graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base. A 2004 graduate of Penobscot Valley High School in Howland, he is the son of Deborah Blaisdell of Bangor and John Blaisdell of Passadumkeag.

SAN ANTONIO – Air Force Airman Kathryn Lozier graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base. A 2003 graduate of Bangor Christian Schools in Bangor, she is the daughter of Lori Morneault and stepdaughter of Joseph Morneault of Hermon.

Basic infantry training

COLUMBUS, Ga. – Army Pfc. Darren McIntyre graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga. He is the son of Ron and Bonnie McIntyre of Hermon and a 2006 graduate of Bangor High School.

Recruiting commander

BANGOR – Army Capt. Robert Jones has arrived for duty as a commander with the Maine Recruiting Company.

Jones has 14 years of military service and is the son of Karen Jones of Holden. He is a 1991 graduate of Brewer High School and earned a master’s degree this year from the University of Maine.

His wife, Stephanie, is the daughter of Rose-Marie Stolkner of Glenburn.
