Seekins wins two at 95

HERMON – Lindsay Seekins of Stockton Springs collected a pair of Ladies Division victories during Wacky Wednesday racing at Speedway 95.

In the first feature, Kayla Allen of Penobscot finished second followed by Winterport’s Rhonda Lyford, Clifton’s Jamie Rennebu, and Winterport’s Meghan Allen. Seekins and Allen were first and second in the next feature with Clifton’s Nicole Smith, Winterport’s Jeannie Deaghan, and Howland’s Amy Houde rounding out the top five.

Oxford Plains Speedway

At Oxford, Guy Childs Sr. honored his late brother Perley, who suffered a stroke over the weekend and died on Wednesday, by capturing his first Outlaw feature win in the Acceleration series.

Stan Morgan of Auburn was second with Bowdoin’s Joe Geroux, Leeds’ Carey Robertson, and Poland’s Mike Felker completing the top five.
