Thanks to the Elizabeth W. Means Trust support in 2006, Bangor Area Visiting Nurses helped care for seven children under age 15, including children with liver disorder, muscular dystrophy and arthritis.
“We have received support from the Elizabeth W. Means Trust for many years, however, we do not take it for granted,” said Helen Genco, COO and vice president of Bangor Area Visiting Nurses. “We are so grateful for each year that they have helped with children who otherwise may fall through the cracks. They have helped us provide care to many, many children and families over the years.”
