MILLINOCKET – Jordan Burleigh hit two doubles and knocked in four runs to lift Lincoln over Motor City of Bangor 18-2 in the second game of an American Legion baseball doubleheader Saturday.
Lincoln also took the first game 8-2.
In the first game, Tyson Tash singled twice and drove in three runs for the Lumber. Pete Coggins tripled and singled and Tyler Thompson singled twice.
Nick Smith hit an RBI single to lead Motor City.
In the second game, Thomson hit three singles and drove in three runs for Lincoln and Trent Brown had two singles and two RBIs. Jeff Osborne tripled and singled with two RBIs and Drew Welch singled with three RBIs.
Nick Smith tripled for Motor City and Jon Gagnon hit an RBI double. Kyle Gallant doubled and Brock Bragdon added an RBI single.

At Lincoln Sunday, Pete Coggins smacked a three-run homer in the fifth to boost the Lumber.
Lincoln’s Tyler Thompson drove in four runs on two doubles and a single. Tyson Tash hit a triple, a double and a single, while Jeff Osborne and Josh Murchison each singled twice.
Tim Kenerson paced the Riverdogs with a double, a single and two RBIs. Corey Harding chipped in with a two-run single and Joel Neill recorded a double, a single and an RBI. Cody Haverly-Johnson hit two singles.

At Mahaney Diamond in Orono, Josh Nickerson racked up four RBIs on three singles and Dale Dutton allowed one earned run in seven innings as the Waldo prevailed Sunday.
Miles Davee and Gabe Blodgett each hit two singles and recorded an RBI for Waldo. Noah Burke singled twice.
Travis Dunton paced Orono with an RBI double and a single. Dana Leland had an RBI double and Corey Fournier singled twice.

Bangor, Waldo split
At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Shane Walton hit three singles and a double, scored three runs, drove in five runs and stole three bases to lift Bangor over Waldo 12-5 in Saturday’s first game. Waldo took the second game 9-8.
In the first game, John Cox had two singles and two RBIs for Bangor and Scott Hackett hit a single and knocked in two runs. Jim Cox recorded 10 strikeouts.
Miles Davee had three singles and two runs scored for Waldo and Noah Burke doubled and singled with two RBIs.
In the second game, Davee drove in Josh Nickerson on a single in the eighth inning for Waldo. Jake Arthers had two singles and two runs scored and Gabriel Blodgett doubled and singled with two RBIs. Nickerson added two singles and three runs scored.
Kyle Vanidestine had three singles, three runs scored and two stolen bases for Bangor. Scott Hackett hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning and Gordie Webb doubled twice and drove in two runs.

Brewer sweeps Presque Isle
At Presque Isle, Chris Maguire hit a single and a three-run home run to lift Brewer over Presque Isle 11-6 in Saturday’s first game. The Falcons also won the second game 9-5.
In the first game, Eddie Robbins doubled and singled with two RBIs for Brewer and Eric White doubled.
Hunger Caron had two doubles and two RBIs for Presque Isle. Logan York hit three singles and Matt McGlinn doubled and singled with an RBI.
In the second game, Rick Adams hit a two-run homer in the fifth inning for the Falcons and Caleb Smith had three singles. Cam Wadleigh doubled and singled and Robbins singled twice.
York hit an RBI double for the Patriots and McGlinn added an RBI single.

Penquis, Hampden split
At Hampden, Ian Champeon hit a two-run home run in the fourth inning and added an RBI single to lead Penquis to the 5-3 win over Hampden in Saturday’s first game. Hampden won the second game 7-6.
In the first game, Brad Brown had two singles and an RBI for Penquis and Nick Emery singled twice.
Joel Neill hit a solo home run in the sixth inning for Hampden. Corey Harding doubled and singled with an RBI and Shawn Smith singled twice.
In the second game, Justin Kelsey hit a three-run homer in the fifth inning for Hampden. Smith and Tim Kenerson each had two singles and a double with an RBI.
Tyler Speed hit three singles and drove in two runs for Penquis. Richie Tompkins had two singles and two RBIs and Danny Beatham doubled and singled with an RBI.

Orono sweeps Calais
At Calais Saturday, the Twins pounded out 24 hits in a doubleheader sweep of the Suns, taking the first game 11-3 and the second 20-4.
In the first game, Orono’s Kyran Swett blasted a three-run homer in the seventh inning. Jarrett Lukas added two singles and an RBI, while Dana Leland had an RBI double.
Scott Geel led Calais with a solo homer, an RBI double and a single. Aaron Sullivan added an RBI single.
In the second game, Kash Keezer hit a three-run homer and Lukas added a two-run shot for the Twins. Leland and Max Winter each had a triple with two RBIs and Travis Dunton doubled and singled.
Jeff Ramsdell hit two singles and drove in two runs for the Suns. Sullivan had an RBI to go with a double and two singles, and Matt O’Brien hit a double and a single.

At Calais Sunday, Scott Geel hit a two-run home run in the sixth to help the Suns earn their first win.
Geel also singled for Calais. Jeff Ramsdell drove in three runs on four singles, while Matt O’Brien hit three singles to go with an RBI. Dylan Ramsdell added three singles.
Kyle Gallant led Motor City with a two-run homer and an RBI single. Nick Smith hit two triples and drove in two runs and Jon Gagnon doubled.
