HERMON – Justin Spencer drove in four runs on three singles and two doubles in two games as Life Fitness swept Aerus Electrolux in Bay League baseball action Sunday. Life Fitness won the first game 6-2 and the second 6-3.

In the first game, Life Fitness took advantage of three Aerus errors in the eighth inning to score four runs. Jeff Miller added a triple, a single and an RBI, while Ian Lee had a single and an RBI.

Andy Treadwell paced Aerus with two doubles, a triple and an RBI. Nate Ellis hit an RBI double.

In the second game, Lee hit a double, a single and drove in a run for Life Fitness. Travis Tripp singled and had an RBI.

Aaron Bilodeau singled and hit a solo home run for Aerus Electrolux. Ryan Jones singled twice and recorded an RBI.

Union Street Cleaners sweeps

At Husson College in Bangor Sunday, Chad Lavway tossed a two-hitter as Union Street Cleaners won the first game of a doubleheader 6-3 and took the second game 5-3.

In the first game, George Keefe hit two singles and stole four bases for Union Street Cleaners. Nick Arthers and Matt ** of Searsport each hit a single.

In the second game, Lavway singled twice. Kenton Spaulding had two singles and two RBIs for Searsport.
