Michael Andreozzi, president of Beltone New England, recently received Beltone’s President’s Cup Award at parent company Beltone Electronics’ annual national meeting in Orlando, Fla. The award is considered Beltone’s highest honor and is presented to hearing-care practitioners who demonstrate exceptional patient care, community involvement and professional business practices, according to a press release. Beltone New England has seen extensive growth in the past five years under Andreozzi’s leadership, the company said, expanding from seven offices in Rhode Island to more than 60 offices in seven states. In Bangor, Beltone New England works with local nursing homes and senior centers, providing free hearing screenings and hearing instrument servicing as well as home visits through participating offices. Chicago-based Beltone Electronics was founded in 1940 and produces hearing instruments sold in more than 40 countries.
Union Trust Co. of Ellsworth has appointed Aaron Stasulis a financial consultant with its Cornerstone Investment Services division. The announcement was made by Craig Worcester, VP of Union Trust Financial Services and program manager for Cornerstone Financial Management. Stasulis has 10 years’ experience working in several areas of insurance – including life, health, property and casualty – and financial services. Previously with the Horace Mann Insurance Co., he focused on client relations in the midcoast region. He now will be based at Union Trust’s branches in Rockland and Waldoboro. A Maine native and graduate of the University of Maine in Orono, Stasulis lives with his wife, Lynn, and daughter, Isabella, in Rockport. Cornerstone has provided a full line of brokerage and insurance products and services, since its establishment in 2001.
