BANGOR – Andrew Hillier took a no-hitter into the sixth inning and finished with a one-hitter Friday afternoon to lead the Bangor East ages 9-10 Little League Baseball all-star team to a 6-2 victory over Brewer in the District 3 championship game at Taylor Field.

BANGOR – Andrew Hillier took a no-hitter into the sixth inning and finished with a one-hitter Friday afternoon to lead the Bangor East ages 9-10 Little League Baseball all-star team to a 6-2 victory over Brewer in the District 3 championship game at Taylor Field.

Hillier doubled and singled twice to help his own cause for the winners. Alex Welch and Jake Morrill each doubled while James Deane tripled.

Acadian 12, Calais 2

At Bar Harbor, Sam Walker hit a two-run triple and Bailey York an RBI double to lead the Acadian 9-10 All-Stars to victory over Calais.

Jack Sasner provided two singles and an RBI while Jake Gallego added two singles for the winners.

J.C. Myers, Daniel McPhee and Will Urquhart each singled for Calais.

Coastal 13, Ellsworth II 2

At Ellsworth, Curtis Farren pitched a four-inning no-hitter with seven strikeouts as Coastal prevailed.

Joey Paul doubled twice to knock in two runs while Finn McMahon-Allwine hit a two-run triple for Coastal.
