ORONO – Marcus Gustafson, who scored the overtime game-winner in the University of Maine’s last NCAA championship game victory (3-2 over New Hampshire) in 1999, will be among the Black Bears who are expected to play in Sunday’s 1 p.m. Maine alumni hockey game at the Alfond Arena.

ORONO – Marcus Gustafson, who scored the overtime game-winner in the University of Maine’s last NCAA championship game victory (3-2 over New Hampshire) in 1999, will be among the Black Bears who are expected to play in Sunday’s 1 p.m. Maine alumni hockey game at the Alfond Arena.

Among other players expected to participate are Jimmy Howard, Frank Doyle, Greg Moore, Gary Conn, Chris Heisten, Marc Son, Peter Metcalf, Mario Thyer, Vince Guidotti, Derek Damon, Art Demoulas, Ray Jacques, Martin Mercier, Justin Tomberlin, Matt Yeats and current Maine assistants Guy Perron and Dan Kerluke.

There also is a golf outing Monday at the Penobscot Valley Country Club in Orono with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. It will be followed by a dinner/auction expected to begin at 1 p.m.
