BUCKSPORT – Zach Hall came in to score the winning run on Cody Farrell’s bases-loaded single in the bottom of the 12th inning to lift the Bucksport Junior League All-Stars to a 5-4 victory over South Portland in the state baseball tourney Monday.
Bangor defeated Sacopee Valley 20-1 in five innings in the second game.
In the first game, Farrell had three singles and an RBI for Bucksport. Ryan Bailey and Tim Nason each had two singles and an RBI. Andrew Giosia doubled and singled and Tyler French added an RBI double.
Jacob Dekubber led South Portland with two singles. Nic Lops and Thomas Piscopo doubled.
In the second game, Curtis Worcester and Branden Landry combined to allow one run on one hit an one walk while striking out 10 for Bangor.
Josiah Hartley doubled and singled with four RBIs for Bangor. Joe Stanovicz hit a two-run single and Luke Hetterman had a double and a single with two RBIs.
Alex Kindred hit an RBI single in the second inning for Sacopee Valley.

At Mansfield Stadium in Bangor, Mack Susi doubled three times and knocked in two runs while Cody McInnis had four singles to knock in three as Bangor cruised past Hampden.
Jordan Clarke had two singles and an RBI for the winners. Chad Kelley knocked three singles and plated two runs and John Cox doubled and singled twice to knock in another.
Justin Rodgerson led Hampden with two singles and an RBI.

At Machias, Emily Day had two singles to drive in three runs and Lauren Ray knocked in two more with a single as Machias rolled past Sunrise.
