PRESQUE ISLE – The Presque Isle Rotary Club recently was recognized by the Global Network for Blood Donation, a Rotarian Action Group, for showing outstanding commitment in supporting blood donation programs.

The club was recognized for its efforts in scheduling appointments with community members before each blood drive held at The Aroostook Medical Center’s A.R. Gould Memorial Hospital.

The recognition program was created to encourage clubs to advocate for blood donation in their communities. The Presque Isle club was the only club recognized in Rotary District 7810.
