BAR HARBOR – Acadian rallied for a run in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat Ellsworth I 9-8 and claim the District 1 baseball title in Little League All-Star action Wednesday.

Acadian’s Jordan Hodgdon led off the bottom of the sixth with a single and later scored the winning run on Adam Ranco’s double to put the All-Stars in the state tournament.

Acadian advances to the state tourney in Lebanon and will play on Sunday at 11:30 a.m.

Dakota Stewart doubled twice for Acadian and Bailey York doubled and singled.

Conor Maguire singled twice and knocked in two runs for Ellsworth I and Alex Braley hit a double and drove in three runs. Griffin Nightingale had three singles and Jared Brown singled twice.
