BANGOR – SAT preparatory classes for high school students and other college applicants will be offered on the Husson College campus beginning Aug. 5.
Brunswick-based Maine Prep will teach strategies to use in the math, writing and reading sections of the SAT. The course will prepare students for the Oct. 6 SAT and the Oct. 17 PSAT.
The course will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. every Sunday for eight weeks, starting Aug. 5 and ending Sept. 30. The cost of the course is $595.
The instructor, Frank Hubbard, is a Bangor-based college professor and an experienced test preparation teacher, having taught SAT, ACT, GRE and GMAT prep courses.
Classes will take place in the Libra Room, O’Donnell Commons, on the Husson College campus, 1 College Circle.
