Paul E. Suitter, a sophomore at Bates College, was named to the dean’s list for the second semester of the 2006-07 academic year. A 2005 graduate of Southern Aroostook Community High School, he is the son of Heidi Pratt and Timothy Suitter of Houlton.

Christine Thurston of Ramsey, N.J., received a juris doctor degree on May 19 from Vermont Law School in South Royalton, Vt. Before law school, Thurston received a Bachelor of Science in criminology from Florida State University. She is the daughter of Lewis Thurston Jr. of Bonita, Fla., and Bernice Gross of Calais.

Emily P. Crowley, a junior political science major at Bates College, has been named to the dean’s list for the second semester of the 2006-07 academic year. A 2004 graduate of John Bapst Memorial High School, she is the daughter of Marjorie and Michael Crowley of Belfast.

James M. Peckenham, a junior rhetoric major at Bates College, has been named to the dean’s list for the second semester of the 2006-07 academic year. A 2004 graduate of John Bapst Memorial High School, he is the son of John Peckenham and Mary O’Shea of Orland.
