Four athletes from Maine will be heading to China in October for the Special Olympics World Summer Games.

Keith Draper of Greene will be competing in Aquatics, Kala Emery of Minot in Athletics (Track and Field), Robin Sibley of Bangor in Bocce and Jacquelyn Guisley of Raymond in Equestrian. Nearly 7,500 athletes will be competing in the event, which is being held in Asia for the first time and outside the United States for the second time.
