White scores two, leads Easton boys by Hodgdon

HODGDON – Corey White scored two goals and assisted another to lead Easton to a 4-1 high school boys soccer win over Hodgdon Monday.

Brad Taft scored twice for the 2-0 Bears. Devyn Gray, Sam Bacon and Nick Flewelling each provided an assist. Jeremy Brock made three saves on six shots.

Jake Tidd scored an unassisted goal with 8:45 left in the first half for 0-1 Hodgdon. James Ryan stopped 11 of 20 shots.

Wisdom 4, Washburn 1

At St. Agatha, Rocky Chamberland scored two goals and provided an assist to lead Wisdom to victory over Washburn.

Kurtis Daigle had a goal and an assist for the 1-1 Pioneers and Alex Michaud scored a goal. Curtis Collins made five saves on seven shots.

Nick McIntosh scored on a Ethan Doody assist in the first half for 0-1 Washburn. Brian Campbell blocked 24 of 33 shots.

Madawaska 3, Van Buren 1

At Van Buren, Jordan Albert, sophomore Nathan Beaulieu and Tim McDermott each scored a goal to lead Madawaska past Van Buren.

Shawn Parker and Chad Bechard provided assists for the 1-0 Owls. Junior Nathan Beaulieu was in goal.

Alex Martin scored on a penalty kick in the first half for the 0-1 Crusaders. Patrick Vaillancourt tended goal.

Girls soccer

Washburn 7, Wisdom 0

At St. Agatha, Morgan Berube scored five times to lift Washburn over Wisdom.

Erica McDougall had a goal and an assist for the 1-0 Beavers. Alex Bird added a goal while Kelsee McLaughlin and Dakota Koch each had an assist. Rachel Palmer stopped two of five shots.

Deliya Michaud made 21 saves on 34 shots for the 1-1 Pioneers.

Hodgdon 5, Easton 2

At Hodgdon, Shannon Martin scored three unassisted goals to lead Hodgdon past Easton.

Dana Tidd and Chelsea Sloat both added a goal for 1-0 Hodgdon. Emily Jurson made eight saves on 12 shots.

Kylinne Beaulieu scored both of 0-1 Easton’s goals. Katie Cyr assisted on one. Taylor Burtt stopped 16 of 23 shots.

Madawaska 5, Van Buren 0

At Van Buren, Susan Lavertu scored two goals to lead Madawaska to the shutout.

Nicole Daigle, Jamie Nadeau and Kallie Pelletier added goals for 1-0 Madawaska. Ashley A. Cyr assisted Pelletier’s goal and Stephanie Nadeau stopped two of three shots.

Jen Ouellette made 10 saves on 15 shots for 0-1 Van Buren.
