HERMON – Girl Scout volunteers are invited to the summer 1Voice meeting, a format designed to give Girl Scout volunteers information and resources needed for the upcoming Girl Scout year. The District 6 1Voice meeting will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at Hermon High School, 2415 Route 2.
The agenda includes patch programs, Zink the Zebra, the new Girl Scouts of Maine and an overview of fall product sale activities.
Membership packets will be distributed to troops that have not registered and volunteers will participate in an investiture-rededication ceremony.
There will be time for networking with peers and staff and to hear about area Girl Scout activities. Volunteers will receive a fall activity guide filled with ideas.
All who plan to attend should e-mail webmaster@abnakigsc.org to be assured of enough handout materials. Adult Girl Scout volunteers are needed for the 2007-2008 program year.
