ASHLAND – Whitney Flint scored two goals Tuesday to lift Ashland to a 3-1 girls soccer victory over Wisdom of St. Agatha.
Jackie Raymond scored a goal and provided an assist for 1-0 Ashland. Jessica Jimmo and Suzie Poulin each had an assist. Taylor Baker blocked the only shot she faced.
Deliya Michaud made 19 saves on 25 shots for 3-2 Wisdom.

At Ashland, Carl Nemer scored two goals and assisted four others to lead Ashland to victory in its opener over Wisdom of St. Agatha.
Jeremy Tarr had two goals and an assist for the Hornets and Tyler Cote added a goal and an assist. Jacob Paradis, John Casey and Kenny Tarr scored. Thomas Long also set up a goal.
Lucas Belanger and Bobby Gardiner combined to make five saves on 10 shots.
Kurtis Daigle and Kyle Daigle each scored on a direct kick for 1-4 Wisdom. Curtis Collin made eight saves on 30 shots.

BDN seeks lists of fall teams
The Bangor Daily News is seeking rosters of fall high school sports teams. Coaches or managers are encouraged to visit bangordailynews.com, click on the roster icon under sports news, and then e-mail a list of the players’ first and last names.
The name of the team’s head coach should also be listed with his or her phone number.
The BDN uses the team rosters to assist with its coverage of fall sports teams.
Reporting games
Guidelines for coaches
During this busy sports season, the NEWS asks that managers and coaches for the home teams promptly report the games. Games can be reported starting at 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday and 3 p.m. on Sundays. Games can not be reported on Saturday.
Those seeking to report games from the Greater Bangor area may call at 990-8275. Those outside the Bangor area may call toll free at 1-800-310-8600. Game results will also be accepted through the fax machine. Its number is 990-8092.
Coaches and managers are urged to provide details for both teams when reporting games. First names of players on both teams as well as statistics are needed. Those not providing full details for both teams run the risk of the games not being published in the paper.
