INDIAN ISLAND – Donations of school supplies are needed at the Indian Island Women’s Center. The center works with 181 families, and this time of year demand is high to help local children prepare to head back to school.

The center, a nonprofit organization, particularly needs backpacks. Donations can be dropped off between noon and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 19 West St., Indian Island.
